January 2021/Enero 2021

 I have been trying to draw more frequently, more times a week. During January I focused on Central Park because  pandemia... Central Park is the space I have closer, and I never going to get tired of it. It is my first love since I came to New York. The places I have been drawing were: 

- 34th street/ 9 avenue

-Central Park west, near 72th street

-Bethesda Terrace

-Bethesda Fountain

-David Spectra. He used to play guitar in the 79th´s entry to the park. 

-Alice in wonderland, first study. I think I'll do more. 

-Manhattan from the 28th floor, on the 3rd Avenue. This drawing is not finished yet. But I love the texture of undistinguishable buildings.

Este año me propuse ser un poco más sistemática con mi dibujo urbano y me propuse salir a dibujar, incluso con el frío horrible que hacía y bajo riesgo de perder los dedos y el trasero de congelados que me quedaban, pero qué diablos, era algo que sentía que tenía que hacer. Estos son los dibujos que hice durante enero: 

-Central Park west, cerca de la calle 72.

-Bethesda Terrace (al centro del CP)

-Bethesda Fountain (al lado de la terraza)

-David Spectra. Él se pone a tocar guitarra los fin de semana cerca de la entrada de la 79. 

-Alice in wonderland,  primer estudio. Esta escultura es extremadamente compleja para mí, por lo que voy a seguir haciendo estudios.  

-Manhattan desde el piso 28 de un edificio en la 3º avenida. Este dibujo todavía está en proceso.
